Br. Vandan Chaitanya

Vandan was born in Durban, South Africa on 29 November 1981.  Vandan completed a Master’s Degree in Technology in Homoeopathy from the Durban University of Technology.  Vandan had a desire to pursue a monastic life for many years and feels extremely blessed to be initiated as a brahmachari of the Chinmaya Mission monastic order as well have the opportunity to study our sacred scriptures under the tutelage of Pujya Swami Abhedanandaji. Brni. Gauri Chaitanya

Brahmacharini Gauri Chaitanya is currently posted at Chinmaya Mission Durban, South Africa. She has a Diploma in Business Administration and served at Afrox Ltd and Shoprite Group of Companies in the capacity of Regional Administration Manager. Her fascination towards the Chinmaya Mission drew her to the ashram in Durban, where she was involved as a sevika and attended daily classes and camps. Brni. Kaushiki Chaitanya

Brahmacharini Kaushiki Chaitanya is currently posted at Chinmaya Mission of South Africa, Durban. She came from an environmental science background, where she involved in grassland studies, environmental educational programmes and vegetation surveys etc. Her association with the Chinmaya Mission of South Africa since August 2010 sparked her inner seeker and this saw co-ordinating Balvihar classes and camps, attending Vedanta and daily satsangs. Brni. Keertida Chaitanya

Brahmacharini Keertida Chaitanya is currently posted at Chinmaya Mission Johannesburg, South Africa. She completed her tertiary education in 2015. Her devotion towards Pujya Gurudev led her to being involved in CHYK Activities, Vedanta and monthly yagnas. In 2015, she joined the first ever two year residential Vedanta Course at Chinmaya Mission of South Africa, Durban, under the guidance of Pujya Swami Abhedanandaji. Brni. Shalini Chaitanya

                    Brahmacharini Shalini Chaitanya is currently posted at Chinmaya Mission of South Africa, Durban. She completed her tertiary education in 2015. Her commitment towards Pujya Gurudev and the Chinmaya Mission of South Africa inspired her to attend Balvihar, CHYK Activities, Vedanta, monthly yagnas and daily satsang. In 2015, she joined the first ever two year residential Vedanta Course at Chinmaya Mission of South Africa, Durban, under the guidance of Pujya Swami

Brni. Madhavi Chaitanya

  Brahmacharini Madhavi Chaitanya is currently posted at Chinmaya Mission Cape Town, South Africa. Her studies post matric include Graphics design, one year Counseling course at University of South Africa and BCom management for two years.  Inspired by the association of Chinmaya Mission over many years, she was involved in CHYK Activities, Vedanta and daily satsangs. Br. Param Chaitanya

Brahmachari Param Chaitanya is currently posted at Chinmaya Mission of South Africa, Johannesburg. His love for knowledge and seva was the main attraction pulling him towards the Mission. He has the grace and blessings of the entire Guru Parampara to have spent almost four years in the study of Vedanta at Chinmaya Mission. Br. Abhijit Chaitanya

                    Brahmachari Abhijit Chaitanya had first been introduced to the Chinmaya Mission during Ramayan talks delivered by Swami Abhedananda ji in 2008. He was immediately captivated by Swamiji’s deep love for the Lord and his divine insight into the scriptures.  Thereafter Abhijit ji started attending regularly, the classes and other activities of the Ashram. Abhijit ji then studied full time when a six month Residential Vedanta Course was conducted by Swami
