Chinmaya Mission Reservoir Hills

Chinmaya Mission is like Mother Ganges who’s ever flowing purity, divinity, integrity and love has inspired numerous sincere seekers around the globe. The infinite knowledge of the scriptures continues to flow in various parts of South Africa including Chinmaya Mission Reservoir Hills.

Established in 2017, Chinmaya Mission Reservoir Hills has become a hub of activities due to the guidance of Pujya Swami Abhedanandaji and dedicated efforts of Br. Abhijit Chaitanya. Monthly yagnas, regular classes, balavihars and satsangs have attracted numerous devotees to this new beautiful ashram. A dedicated team of sevaks & sevikas along with Br. Abhijit Chaitanya work tirelessly for the smooth functioning of various activities at the ashram.

Regular Satsangs

Pujya Swamiji visits the ashram periodically to conducted Vedanta Classes on various text.

The topics completed in this ashram by Swamiji include: Introduction to Vedanta, Power of Mantras, Ishavasya Upanishad and currently the text being taken is Mundak Upanishad.

Br. Abhijit Chaitanya also conducts weekly classes on Ramayana, Vedanta and Sanskrit at the ashram premises. Due to current pandemic situation the classes are conducted via online platforms.

Yagnas

Monthly yagnas are conducted in the ashram premises and around 50-100 devotees attend every yagna. Sumptuous breakfast and dinner prasad are provided to the devotees after every yagna. Due to the pandemic the yagnas are halted, but the devotees continue to stay connected to satsangs via our online portals. Here is the list of Yagnas conducted in past 2 years.
